EXTRA! EXTRA! Exploding rainbow Slaphead hovers over Mid-Europe!

The child of trial and error.
Done on a map of Europe in watercolor, oil pastel, chalk, colored pencil, charcoal, and . . . I forget the rest of it.
The map was hard to work with.

Note: if you use watercolor on a slick map, put down chalk first so the paint will stick

And I know I could've cropped the picture better, but my main concern was getting all of the project in.

I call her "Lady of Thine Heart and Soul" in my mind, It looks as though the map says "Here, have some of us put into one being" as though life were to come of such a set down and not looked much upon being. The shading is brilliant and I love it to a place next to death. You've done yet again amazing.

I like the lighting a lot. It looks like something you'd see in a still moment of a movie.

I'm really proud of that movement in it. It's one of the first pieces I've ever done with so much flow.
